It depends! Here's a breakdown:
- Fundamentals Workshops: 5–6 hours. You’ll learn science, breathwork, and go into the ice — all in one life-changing day.
- Community Workshops: Shorter 2–3 hour sessions focused only on breathwork and cold exposure — perfect for busy schedules.
- Advanced Workshops & Retreats: Coming in 2026. Advanced sessions require Fundamentals first. Retreats are open to all.
🛡️ Safety & Health
Yes — when done properly and under guidance. All workshops follow official Wim Hof Method safety protocols.
No, the Wim Hof Method is not recommended during pregnancy.
Always check with your doctor first. The method is NOT advised for people with:
- Heart conditions
- High blood pressure (unmanaged)
- Epilepsy
- Severe asthma
- History of stroke
- Pregnancy
- Serious mental health conditions (like schizophrenia or psychosis)
Never! Breath retention is only done on land. Safety first, always.
🎒 Preparing for a Workshop
Comfortable clothes, swimwear, a towel, and an open mind!
Nope — total beginners are welcome. You’ll be guided from start to finish.
Light meal = yes. Big burger = no. You want to breathe comfortably.
Between 1–5°C (34–41°F). But don’t panic — we guide your time safely and never push.

Absolutely! Some of my most dedicated students are in their 60s and 70s. Doctor’s approval may be needed.

Most events happen in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. I can travel anywhere in China for private bookings or group sessions.
I’ll always send metro/parking info in the WeChat group 1–2 days before the event. Don’t stress!
